Paul Sabatini, Ph.D., P.E., a principal in Geosyntec's Chicago office, will present at the 37th Annual Conference on Deep Foundations in Houston, Texas, on October 18, 2012.
Dr. Sabatini's presentation, "Observational and Numerical Evaluation of Defects in Deep Mixing Method Columns Used for LNG Process Train Structural Foundation and Support," was co-authored by Paul Summers, P.E., and Billy Villet, Ph.D., both of MMI Engineering. The presentation begins at 8:55 a.m. in the George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida de las Americas in Houston.
At the same conference, Edward Clukey of BP America will present "Preliminary Assessment of Reliability and Sampling Requirements for Deep Mixing Method (DMM) Foundations for LNG Processing Facility and Storage Tank." This presentation was co-authored by Drs. Sabatini and Villet and Mr. Summers.
