From redeveloping contaminated, underutilized, and abandoned properties to landform grading and stormwater management, to subsurface vapor migration and landfill gas containment and control, Geosyntec practitioners help clients.

We have extensive experience with major clients in the development of NPDES stormwater discharge permits and related Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) for construction activities. We also provide assistance to developers in auditing compliance with regulations and plans through development of audit protocols and conduct of audit programs. Geosyntec engineers and scientists have conducted a variety of audits involving more than 1,000 commercial and residential properties across the country.

We routinely perform environmental impact evaluations to help with identifying, selecting, and purchasing sites for redevelopment, and we provide technical support through the Brownfields designation process. We incorporate the use of risk-based approaches and end use planning to develop remedial strategies that offer cost-effective solutions, and mitigate environmental and financial risk for our clients. Similarly, our work with landforming techniques such as mechanically-stabilized walls and low impact development approaches allow site planners and architects greater freedom in achieving aesthetic, LEED, and site utilization objectives.
