Valerie Mayhall is honored to be serving on the Board of Directors of the Women's Energy Network, South Louisiana Chapter for 2017.
Valerie is a Senior Scientist based in Louisiana with more than 20 years of experience focused on environmental permitting and compliance. She has extensive experience in project management for entities in the industrial, municipal, and utility sectors.
A diverse mix of companies, Valerie's clients include sugar mills, refineries, railroads, and petrochemical companies. Her clients operate primarily throughout Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Texas. Valerie's professional expertise includes solid/hazardous waste, air, and water compliance and permitting. She has developed permit applications, compliance manuals, and plans for commercial, industrial, petrochemical, and utility clients. Valerie's expertise also includes municipal, state, and federal environmental regulations, and she has worked extensively with local, state, and federal environmental agencies.
As Director at Large for the Women's Energy Network, Valerie will support efforts to provide networking opportunities and foster career and leadership development for women who work in the energy industries.
Currently, the Women's Energy Network has over 4,000 members across 13 chapters in the following areas: Appalachia, Greater Atlanta, Chicago, Colorado, Houston, Greater New York City, North Texas, Greater Oklahoma, Permian Basin, Greater Philadelphia, South Louisiana, South Texas and Washington DC areas.
