Tamara Hebeler, P.E., is recipient of the "2007 Young Engineer of the Year Award."
ATLANTA — Geosyntec staff member Tammy Hebeler, P.E., is the winner of the Georgia Engineer's Week "2007 Young Engineer of the Year Award." Georgia's Engineer of the Year competition recognizes deserving and dedicated engineers who have made valuable contributions to their profession and who have impacted the engineering community.
The "Young Engineer of the Year Award" competition is open to all professional engineers throughout Georgia and students enrolled in a Georgia ABET-credited engineering or engineering technology school.
Less than six months ago, Tammy received the "Young Civil Engineer of the Year" award from the Georgia Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers, making this most recent win a second charm. "As an exceptional engineer, a perfect team player, and a great friend, Tammy continues to excel in representing the core qualities that distinguish Geosyntec from the others," said Cuneyt Gokmen, P.E., a senior engineer at Geosyntec. Tammy earned her B.S. in civil engineering from SyracuseUniversity and M.S. in geotechnical engineering from Georgia Tech.
