GeoFlorida 2010 Hosts Several Geosyntec Presenters

Several Geosyntec staff members presented papers at the conference GeoFlorida 2010, which was held by the American Society of Civil Engineers' Geo-Institute, in West Palm Beach, Fla., on February 20 — 24, 2010. Below is a reference listing of presenters' papers:

In addition, Geosyntec's president and CEO, Rudy Bonaparte, PhD, PE, participated in the panel discussion entitled, "Research, Teaching, and Practice Interrelationships in Geo-Engineering Development: Is the Past a Prologue to the Future?" at the conference. Robert Bachus, PhD, PE, principal at ARO, also participated in the panel discussion titled "Application of Ground Improvement Technologies Toward Sustainable Engineering Practices" at the conference.

Finally, as a long standing corporate member of the Geo-Institute, Geosyntec attended the invitation-only Student — Organizational Member Reception held prior to the opening of the Conference. Geosyntec was also a major sponsor of the Career Fair held during the conference and a sponsor of the GeoChallenge Student Competition, where student teams from across the country showcased their design, construction, and teamwork skills during this fifth annual event.
