Geosyntec Appoints Robert Hartzel as Associate

ATLANTA, Ga. — Geosyntec Consultants congratulates Robert Hartzel, CLM, CPESC, on his appointment as Associate. Robert, who joined Geosyntec in 2002, is based in the firm's Boston office.

Since joining the firm, Robert has successfully built the firm's practice in the areas of lake management, watershed assessment and ecological services. He has managed limnological investigations and restoration projects for numerous lakes and ponds throughout New England on behalf of state agencies, municipalities and lake associations. Robert is also an expert in watershed planning, stream assessment, wetland science, environmental permitting, and watershed planning. He has provided wetlands assessments, stream ecological and geomorphic assessments, and watershed monitoring/modeling for numerous clients.

Robert currently serves on the Massachusetts Lake and Pond Management Policy Advisory Committee. He earned his Master's degree in public policy with an environmental specialization from Duke University and Bachelor's degree in economics from Providence College. He is a Certified Lake Manager (CLM) and a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC).
