Geosyntec is set to attend the Kinder Morgan Supplier Showcase in Houston, Texas at the Hilton Americas on May 10-12, 2016.
Kinder Morgan is the largest energy infrastructure company in North America and it is sponsoring a supplier trade fair to comprise key suppliers and Kinder Morgan leaders. The event is by invitation only and is limited to 184 key suppliers.
Geosyntec is excited about the showcase and considers Kinder Morgan one of their key clients. They will be in full attendance making available four Senior Principals, three Principals, a Senior Scientist, and a Senior Engineer. The Senior Principals attending are Tony Rice, Jim Stout, Mark Grivetti, and Mike McKibben; the three Principals attending are Kwasi Badu-Tweneboah, Russ Abell, and Rebecca Daprato; the Senior Scientist attending is David Vance; and the Senior Engineer attending is Anica Haynes.
Geosyntec's relationship with Kinder Morgan has been award winning. Kinder Morgan's Elba Island Salt Marsh Restoration Project, designed by Geosyntec, received one of the Engineering Excellence Awards for 2016 by the American Council Engineering Companies – ACEC Georgia. The project was also featured in "Georgia Engineer", February/March 2016 edition. The article was entitled "Engineering Projects of Excellence."
Geosyntec team members who contributed significantly to the success of this project include – David Vance, Kwasi Badu-Tweneboah, Rutu Joshi, Cristin Krachon, John Ash, Ramil Mijares, and Caroline Nelson. The team was joined by Scott Walden, their client from Kinder Morgan, who received the award.
