BOCA RATON, FLA. — Geosyntec Consultants is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Dan Schauer, PG, CFEA, CIE, to National Construction Services Manager. Currently an Associate, Dan joined the firm in January 1988. With a strong foundation in geology, geotechnical engineering, environmental assessment and materials testing, he quickly adapted his technical skills to the firm's rapidly expanding construction services (CS) practice.
Over the past 20 years with Geosyntec, Dan has managed hundreds of projects. He now applies his experience in the firm's CS practice to a variety of project types including: brownfield site redevelopment, landfill reclamation, vapor intrusion system design and construction, remedial system O&M, construction engineering, and advanced geotechnical QC oversight and data acquisition.
As National Construction Services Manager, Dan's mission is to extend Geosyntec's client-focused, value-added project execution approach to the company's CS portfolio and facilitate entry into new growth markets. He will focus on expanding web-based program management resources, mentoring practice leaders, and promoting the overall vision of our firm's strategic initiatives. Dan earned his Bachelor's degree in geology from the University of Florida and is a registered professional geologist in Texas, Florida, and Tennessee.
