Maygan Cline Selected for Regional 40 Under 40 List by the Pacific Coast Business Times

Maygan Cline, P.G., QSD/QSP (California) was selected for the regional 40 under 40 list by the Pacific Coast Business Times in Volume 20, Issue number 24 on August 23-29, 2019.

Maygan is a Senior Geologist based in Santa Barbara with more than 11 years of experience focused on private-sector industrial clients, and public-sector municipalities. She has extensive experience managing groundwater quality and remediation projects, as well as groundwater/surface water resource planning and management projects. Maygan currently supports the formation of Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) for multiple groundwater basins in southern California, in compliance with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). Her other experience includes project management, stakeholder engagement, phase I and II and III projects, California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and permitting, Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) support.

The Pacific Coast Business Times article discusses how Maygan found her passion for geology, blending her love for science and the outdoors. It goes on to discuss some of her clients, projects, and how the industry consists mostly of males. To help support and encourage women in the industry, Maygan became a career development lead and mentor for Santa Barbara Women in STEM.
