The theme is Economic Growth and Sustainability: Finding the Balance between Population Growth and Environmental Stewardship. Geosyntec is a sponsor of the conference.

This conference will explore past, present, and future threats to Colorado's environment, focusing on population growth. Presentations will focus on minimizing and mitigating the environmental impacts of land development, use, and natural resource extraction, and maximizing enjoyment of what many consider to be the happiest place on earth.
CEMS was created in 1985 to provide a forum for the exchange of information concerning technologies, laws and regulations, and other current developments pertaining to environmental health and safety matters and waste management issues.
