Geosyntec Staff to Contribute to 35th Annual International Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water, and Energy

Several Geosyntec practitioners will participate in the 35th Annual International Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water, and Energy at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst on October 21-24, 2019.

Jessica Yeager, P.E., LSP (Massachusetts) once again serves on the Scientific Advisory Board for the conference. In addition, Geosyntec practitioners will lead several workshops, platform sessions, and poster presentations at the conference.

The Annual Conference on Soils, Sediments, Water and Energy attracts a wide variety of representation from state and federal agencies, military, industry (including railroad, petroleum, transportation, and utilities), environmental engineering, environmental consulting, and academia. A strong and diverse technical program is developed each year in concert with a variety of educational, social, and networking opportunities. Live equipment demonstrations augment the exhibition hall, bringing real world application to the technical theory presented in the sessions. The conference promises to be an exciting opportunity for all those concerned with the challenge of developing creative, cost-effective assessments and solutions that can withstand the demands of regulatory requirements.

The Association for Environmental Health and Sciences Foundation is a non-profit, member-supported, professional organization. Their purpose is to facilitate communication and foster cooperation among professionals concerned with the challenge of assessment, clean-up, and protection of soil, sediment, and water. AEHS Foundation facilitates conferences, seminars, publications, collaborative partnerships, and their members-only online community.
