Geosyntec Appoints Andrew Montgomery as Associate

ATLANTA, Ga. — Geosyntec Consultants congratulates Andrew Montgomery, PE, on his appointment as Associate. Andrew, who joined Geosyntec in 1995, is based in the firm's Atlanta area office.

Andrew has been a key contributor to Geosyntec's remediation program at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, serving as a technical contributor and project manager on assignments under Geosyntec's successive contracts at the installation. In addition, he has been a significant contributor to the railroad sector client team that earned recognition from one Class I railroad for Geosyntec as the 2006 Consultant of the Year. Currently, Andrew is serving as the Geosyntec program manager on a project team implementing a 10-year federal contract for remediation services at locations throughout the Southeast.

Andrew is a long-time member in the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), earning Young Member of the Year in 2007 by SAME's Atlanta Post . He served on the host committee for the 2010 SAME national conference in Atlanta. Andrew earned his BS in mechanical engineering with an applied chemistry minor (magna cum laude) from the GMI Engineering and Management Institute in Flint, Mich. He received his MS in civil and environmental engineering from Stanford University in Palo Alto, Ca. He is a registered professional engineer in four states.
