Mike Kavanaugh Tapped for Law Institute's Board of Directors
Mike Kavanaugh (Oakland) has been tapped to join the 36-member Board of Directors for the Environmental Law Institute (ELI), an independent, non-profit research and educational organization based in Washington, DC. His term runs through 2014.
The institute serves the environmental profession in business, government, the private bar, public interest organizations, academia, and the press. Since its formation in 1969, ELI has played a pivotal role in shaping the fields of environmental law, policy, and management. Today it is an internationally recognized, non-partisan research and education center working to strengthen environmental protection by improving law and governance worldwide.
