Curt Laush to Present at Stack Testing Seminar
Curt Laush (Texas) will present and join an Industry Expert Panel at the Arizona Environmental Strategic Alliance Stack Testing Seminar at the Intel office in Chandler, Arizona from 9:30-3:30 p.m. on May 25, 2017. Geosyntec is also sponsoring a lunch for the event.
Curt's presentation, entitled "Determination and Interpretation of FTIR Detection Limits," emphasizes the analytical treatment and interpretations of extractive Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy detection limits when monitoring process tool and stack emissions at semiconductor fabrication facilities. Discussed are differences between instrumental minimum detection limits (MDLs) and field detection limits (FDLs) and how each are validated for the purposes of air regulatory reporting.
An Industry Expert Panel featuring Curt will address "Trends in Compliance Testing." Curt's co-panelists are Steve Hall, AECOM; Mike Sherer, Trinity; Tim Higgs, CH2M; Robert Sandoval, INTEL; and Mark Hajduk, APS.
The event will be hosted by the Arizona Environmental Strategic Alliance. Its members work toward environmental improvement beyond regulatory mandates. Interaction between regulators and business members on environmental issues not related to these mandates can produce far-reaching environmental solutions that otherwise might not be realized. The Alliance also provides small business training services, mentoring and education, and annual conferences and seminars
Curt is a Senior Physical Chemist based in Texas with more than 20 years of professional experience focused on the detailed analysis, monitoring, tracking, and management of air emissions produced by electric utilities, solid waste storage facilities, manufacturing plants, and similar industrial operations.
