Joe Cleary to Present on Treatment Technologies for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients for the New Jersey Water Environment Association
Joe Cleary, P.E., BCEE (New Jersey) will present "Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and PFOS/PFOA Compounds – How to Select the Best Technology Solution" at the 104th John J. (Jack) Lagrosa Annual Conference and Exposition of the New Jersey Water Environment Association (NJWEA) at Bally’s in Atlantic City, New Jersey at 9:45 a.m. on May 6, 2019.
Joe is a Principal Environmental Engineer based in New Jersey with more than 44 years of experience focused on industrial wastewater, water reuse, waste to energy, and the treatment of emerging contaminates. He specializes in industrial wastewater treatment and his primary clients are in the pharmaceutical, chemical, refinery, food and beverage, distillery, pulp and paper industries and landfills. Joe’s areas of expertise include: planning and feasibility studies to develop best technical solution, treatability and pilot studies, process development and modeling, engineering design, construction management, operation and maintenance, troubleshooting, and operator training services. He has worked on industrial wastewater projects in the United States, Puerto Rico, Ireland, Mexico, Brazil, Columbia, and China.
The NJWEA is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the water environment. Founded in 1915, the Association is the oldest organization of its kind in the United States and has a membership of 2800 engineers, operators, scientists, students and other professionals.
