Dr. Gary Wealthall and Jim Wragg to Present on Contaminated Groundwater and Remediation at CL:AIRE 20
Gary Wealthall, Ph.D. and Jim Wragg, FGS (United Kingdom) will present at the Contaminated Land: Applications in Real Environments (CL:AIRE) 20th Anniversary Conference in London on November 14, 2019.

David Major, Ph.D., BCES (Ontario, Canada) of Savron Solutions, a division of Geosyntec, will also be attending and is presenting "Smouldering Combustion for Treating PFAS." Dr. Gary Wealthall is a Senior Principal Consultant based in United Kingdom with more than 25 years of experience focused on contaminant hydrogeology research and practice. He is the Managing Director of Geosyntec's consulting business in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Dr. Wealthall is a recognized expert in non-aqueous phase liquids (NAPL) site characterization and remediation and advises clients in the chemical, waste disposal, land development, and insurance industries. He is a visiting professor at the University of Toronto, an editorial board member of the Quarterly Journal of Engineering Geology & Hydrogeology (QJEGH) and instructor on the prestigious Princeton Groundwater and Remediation Courses.
Jim Wragg is a Senior Principal Hydrogeologist based in the United Kingdom with more than 20 years of experience focused on the detailed investigation, assessment and remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater, working primarily with site owners from the industrial sector. He has direct, recent experience in corrective action program design and implementation, including regulatory negotiation, which places him among the leading consultants in this field in the United Kingdom.
The CL:AIRE 20th Anniversary Conference, which will be held in London on November 14, 2019. The conference is being held to celebrate CL:AIRE's 20th year anniversary and their industry achievements over the two decades. As significant as these landmarks are, they will be looking to the future and at coming challenges. The conference program is split between two lecture theatres, one focusing on technology and innovation in site investigation and remediation and the other on sustainable soil reuse and the Definition of Waste Code of Practice.
CL:AIRE is a respected independent not-for-profit organization established in 1999 to stimulate the regeneration of contaminated land in the UK by raising awareness of, and confidence in, practical and sustainable remediation technologies.
The TRG is CL:AIRE's advisory group. The TRG members comprise high caliber experts who take a key role in CL:AIRE's work, supporting CL:AIRE on issues associated with technology development, providing guidance on issues relating to sustainable land reuse, and offering strategic review and steering functions for all CL:AIRE's activities.
