Kirk Craig to Co-Instruct Geoenvironmental Engineering Course at Arizona State University
Kirk Craig, P.E. (Arizona) is co-instructing the Fundamentals of Geoenvironmental Engineering course at Arizona State University (ASU) along with the Enviromental Engineering Program Chair Professor Treavor Boyer.
Since its conception in 2017, Kirk has served on the External Advisory Board for ASU's new and rapidly growing Environmental Engineering undergraduate program within the Engineering School of Sustainable Engineering and the Built Environment. In this role, he has contributed to the curriculum of the Environmental Engineering Program and has provided input with respect to the associated ABET accreditation. As a result of this relationship, Kirk was asked to be the primary instructor of the 400-level Spring 2020 Fundamentals of Geoenvironmental Engineering course.
In contribution to this course, guest lectures will be provided by Geosyntec employees Stephen Foster Ph.D. (Colorado) on risk assessment and remedial strategy; Jeff Roberts (Ontario) on bioremediation and phytoremediation; and Bruce Marvin P.E. (California) on sparging and in situ chemical oxidation/reduction.
