Congratulations to Newly Promoted Senior Principals in 2019

Geosyntec is pleased to announce the promotion of Arthur Forma, Helen Dawson, Julie Konzuk, Paul Botek, Rebecca Daprato, Stefanie Fountain, Syed Rehan, Tom Ramsey, and Warren Brady to the position of Senior Principal within the Geosyntec family of companies.

These individuals have each made substantial contributions in leading the development and delivery of highly valued solutions to our clients, recruiting and mentoring our next generation of exceptional staff, growing our practice capabilities, and collaborating with colleagues across the firm.

ARTHUR FORMA, P.G., CEG, CHG., EIT (California)
Arthur's practice has focused on the areas of hydrogeology, conceptual site model (CSM) development, and environmental data management. For the past five years, he has led the Geoscience Group in Sacramento. Arthur earned a B.S. in Geosciences from California State University Chico in 2000.

HELEN DAWSON, PH.D. (Washington, D.C.)
Helen focuses her practice on vapor intrusion and complex site investigations and negotiations. She earned a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Stanford University in 1992; a M.Sc. in Geochemistry from Colorado School of Mines in 1981; and a B.Sc. in Geology from Stanford University in 1978.

PAUL BOTEK, P.G. (Maryland)
Paul is focused on the groundwater and environmental challenges of geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects. He earned a B.S. in Environmental Geosciences from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1996; and is a registered professional geologist in Virginia.

REBECCA DAPRATO, PH.D., P.E. (Texas)
Rebecca is a leader in the firm in site assessment and remediation with specialties in bioremediation and air sparging. She earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from Rice University in 2007; an MS in Environmental Science and Engineering from Rice University in 2001; a BS in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Florida State University in 1999; and is a registered professional engineer in Florida, North Carolina, Missouri, and Texas.
 
STEFANIE FOUNTAIN, PH.D., P.E. (Tennessee)
Stefanie focuses on large, complex, multi‐disciplinary, multi‐year Department of Energy projects. She was elected to the Waste Management Symposium Program Advisory Committee in 2017 and is the Lead Organizer for a session at the 2019 symposium. She earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering & Science from Clemson University in 2009; an M.S. in Environmental Engineering & Science from Clemson University in 2000; and a B.C.E. in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1998; and is a registered professional engineer in ten states.

SYED REHAN, P.E., BCEE (California)
Rehan's practice is focused on site remediation and vapor intrusion, providing site closure strategies to his client base. He earned an M.Sc. in Environmental Science and Technology from UNESCO-IHE, Delft in 2000; a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University in 1995; and is a registered professional engineer in California, Illinois, and New York.

TOM RAMSEY, P.E. (Maryland)
Tom's practice focuses on solid waste management, construction services, and waste advisory services. He earned an M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Duke University in 1991; a B.S. in Engineering from Dartmouth College in 1988; a B.A.in Engineering from Dartmouth College in 1987; and is a registered professional engineer in 12 states.

WARREN BRADY (Louisiana)
Warren's practice focuses on complex site remediation, with particular expertise in environmental geochemistry and the transport and fate of metals and other inorganic pollutants. He earned an M.S. in Soil Chemistry from Louisiana State University in 1997; a B.S. in Geology from Louisiana Tech University in 1992; and is a licensed geoscientist in Louisiana.
