Geosyntec Practitioners Contribute to 35th Annual Environmental Permitting Summer School

Geosyntec practitioners will contribute to sessions for the 35th Annual Environmental Permitting Summer School presented by the Florida Environmental Network and the Florida Chamber Foundation at the JW Marriot in Marco Island, Florida, July 21-23, 2021. Presenters include Matt Wissler, Eric Sager, Mark Ellard, Joe Applegate, and Jim Langenbach.

Matthew Wissler, P.G. (Florida) is a Senior Principal Hydrogeologist with more than 19 years of experience focused on the evaluation and permitting of water resources, hydrogeologic investigations relating to resource and waste permitting, groundwater modeling of complex aquifer systems, contaminated site assessment and remediation, and vapor intrusion assessment and mitigation.

Eric Sager, P.G. (Florida) is a Senior Principal Geologist with over 22 years of experience in site investigations, conceptual site model development, feasibility studies, remedial design and implementation, and long-term monitoring for sites contaminated by volatile organic compounds, petroleum hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, pesticides, herbicides, metals, and several emerging contaminants of concern in various media.

Mark Ellard, P.E., CFM, D.WRE, ENV SP (Florida) is a Senior Principal Water Resources and Environmental Engineer with more than 30 years of experience in diverse watershed management, water quality assessment, and stormwater design projects.

Joe Applegate, P.G., (Florida) is a Senior Principal Hydrogeologist with more than 35 years of experience and has managed multiple USEPA CERCLA, RCRA, and FDEP environmental contracts and programs and has managed federal, state, and industrial sites including petroleum, dry-cleaning facilities, chemical manufacturers, landfills, former MGPs, and pesticide manufacturers and applicators.

Jim Langenbach, P.E., (Florida) is a Senior Principal Environmental Engineer with more than 20 years of experience focused on assisting clients with environmental assessments, remediation design and treatment system optimization, environmental management systems, sustainable remediation designs, and regulatory compliance.
