Jesse Varsho Elected President of SWANA Land of Lincoln Chapter Board of Directors

Jesse Varsho, P.E., P.G. (Illinois) was elected President of the Board of Directors for the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) Land of Lincoln Chapter during their Annual Conference this October. Jesse assumed his new position in November 2021.

Jesse Varsho is a Principal Engineer and Geologist based in Illinois with more than 20 years of experience in environmental consulting, landfill engineering, construction quality assurance, permitting, compliance, and project management for solid waste management clients throughout the United States. His solid waste experience includes work for both public and private sector clients in the municipal solid waste (MSW) and industrial waste sectors. Jesse has been a member of SWANA's Land of Lincoln Chapter since 2017 and has served in several leadership roles such as Board Vice President.

"SWANA and its members make important contributions to solid waste and resource management and have a powerful impact on the economy and the environment through its shared emphasis on education, advocacy, and research," Jesse stated.
