Geosyntec Practitioners to Present at the 2022 Global Waste Management Symposium

Geosyntec practitioners will present at the 2022 Global Waste Management Symposium at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, California, February 14 to 18, 2022. In addition to our practitioners' presentations, Geosyntec is a sponsor and will also host a booth at the event.

Kwasi Badu-Tweneboah, Ph.D., P.E., D.GE (Florida) will present "Evaluation of Leachate Management/Treatment Strategies for Solid Waste Landfills in Florida" from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. PST on February 16.

Sean O'Donnell, PhD, (Maryland) will present "Less Waste, Better Baltimore: The City's Master Plan for Solid Waste Management and Recycling" from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. PST on February 16 and "Landfill Design in the Era of Climate Change: A Case Study of Resilience and Adaptation Measures Geosyntec Consultants" from 10:30 a.m. - noon on the same day.

Majdi Othman, Ph.D., P.E., (Georgia) will present "Removing a Buttress Berm that was Constructed to Prevent Landfill Instability" at 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. PST on February 16.

Samir Ahmed, P.E. (Florida) will present the following poster: "Design of an Innovative Final Cover System for the Closure of a Municipal Solid Waste Landfill in Ghana, West Africa."
