Dan's practice focuses on GIS data management and mapping for sites impacted by soil and groundwater contamination. His experience as a project geologist serves him well as he manages data and prepares maps for use in reports and for public presentations. In addition, Dan prepares interactive 3D views of surface and subsurface conditions to better communicate environmental information to clients, colleagues, and the public.
He has performed Phase I and II environmental assessments throughout the United States. He also worked as a project geologist for client sites in Hawaii, Saipan, American Samoa, Bolivia, and Indonesia.
As a former Esri-Authorized GIS Instructor, he was authorized to teach the two-day Esri Introduction to ArcView course. The course was offered to acquaint users with the basic tools and capabilities of desktop GIS software developed by Esri.
