Jeff Roberts

Jeff is the Operations Manager of SiREM, a division of Geosyntec.

In the laboratory and in the field, Jeff works with clients on remediation and development projects. He has practical experience in the laboratory assessment and field implementation of soil, sediment, and groundwater remediation technologies at sites containing contaminants including chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, and other recalcitrant compounds. Over the past twenty years he has conducted and managed hundreds of bench-scale batch and column treatability studies, and he has technical experience in the growth, scale-up, and field implementation of several anaerobic microbial cultures for bioremediation remedies. Jeff has several years of passive sampling experience and was a lead team member in the development and commercialization of the SP3^TM sampler.

Jeff supports several research and development projects with academic partners to expand the use of bioremediation to address contaminated media. He continues to advance the state of the practice as a frequent presenter at events and lectures focused on groundwater contamination and in situ remediation technologies.
