Kerry Ground is a Senior Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Professional based in Alberta with more than 10 years of experience in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, environmental and social risk management, community engagement, due diligence and compliance, and project management.
Within this arena, Kerry focuses on stakeholder engagement and grievance mechanisms, corporate social responsibility, Indigenous People’s relations, community investment, environmental and social risks, and socioeconomic analysis. With a strong technical background and keen communication and interpersonal skills, Kerry helps corporations, governments, nonprofits, and investors worldwide to navigate these issues.
Kerry began her ESG career working on environmental and socioeconomic projects designed to support her clients’ sustainable development programs in developing countries; in these roles, she focused on rural communities. Much of her work for clients includes boots-on-the-ground field work, where she engages with local groups, including Indigenous Peoples, to learn about their lives, needs, and opportunities.
