Mark is a Principal based in Illinois with more than 20 years of experience focused on water and natural resources management.
Mark assists clients with design, review, and assistance in the implementation of stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs), soil erosion and sediment control plans, and stormwater and wetland permitting. He also served as the project manager for, and assisted in, several large-scale watershed and stormwater management planning efforts including the development of numerous watershed plans, green infrastructure planning, and the preparation of stormwater management plans. Mark has also assisted in the development of stormwater BMP design manuals.
Mark has extensive experience assisting clients with compliance to the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) stormwater requirements for industrial facilities and construction sites. He has served as the project manager for projects including addressing compliance concerns at single facilities and helping clients develop and implement stormwater compliance programs for facilities in multiple states and nationwide. The programs he has developed and managed include developing standardized documents, such as Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs); providing training to facility personnel; conducting compliance audits; and assisting clients in regulatory negotiations.
